Colour and how it affects us , the emotional response it triggers. Joy, memory, calm . Colour is so uplifting and that’s why I’m drawn to it . Glass brings that colour to life in a purity that’s intoxicating.going to a glass shop is like going to a sweet shop that’s not fattening. I have exhibited at RHS Chelsea, RHS Hampton Court and Gardeners World live. Which is why I’m best known for glass pieces specifically for the garden. Jewel like fish swimming in a swath of grasses or a tall totem of colour that brings height and structure to the border can’t fail to lift the spirits. But I’m much more than that, I’ve been a maker for as long as I can remember, and I work in many mediums, there’s always something new to learn and to share which is why I am now part of the Pallant House Gallery community project as a partner in art and run occasional workshops. I also run workshops in my studio in Bosham .
